The Rhythm Factory Review
Off the beaten track running from Old Street down Brick Lane, The Rhythm Factory is a joint weekday after-work or after-school place to relax, and a weekend club experience. It is a short walk from Aldgate East station, and can by random coincidence be either packed or echoing empty; you’ll just have to walk past and see what it’s like on the particular night.
In general, you are most likely to find people dropping by from the nearby offices or students. Student discounts are available and if prices are of concern, a jug of sangria is only £10.50. Thai food is served until three, so lunch, but not dinner is an option. Coming here for an evening pint is definitely an option, but the regular bar (apart from the club) is nothing spectacular. The Rhythm Factory is not really the place that you would go out of your way to visit, though it is friendly, relaxed, and has impressively comfortable couches available.
The club on weekends is open until 5 a.m. and holds 400 people, making it large enough to disappear in the crowd, but still fairly intimate and familiar. The main motto here is “turn up as you wish.” There are no pretensions, no strict dress codes, no posh attitude; just a good party!...read more

“Definitely an after-school, after-work sort of place, load your frustrations with a few beverages and hit the dance floor.
The first time I went to this industrial venue was back when they were hosting UP! one of London's gay promotions. They have since had a lot of ethnic nights including Kindred Spirit where I just couldn't miss seeing rapper TY for £5. A very different crowd. I have to say that since I moved to East London I got sick of all the trendy Shoreditch twat sort of places, paying to get into bars or paying too much to get into a gig I could see somewhere else for cheaper.
A small venue with three cool rooms, three bars and I have to say a very friendly staff (which is why we at Metro Life voted them one of the 5 friendliest clubs in London). Drinks, not ridiculous in price, and one of the latest licences in Tower Hamlets.
If you're up for partying until 5am on weekends for a little bit of the ol'bling, then check it out.”

“Non-smoking area in a club? Now if that's not pretentious then I don't know what is ;-)
Cool place though, definitely worth checking out.”

“Nice rooms with different themes... the cafe, the main dance floor and another room that is much smaller and more intimate. My only problem with the place is that it was quite empty on the Friday night I went there... so if *I* were the owner I'd get some flyers handed out. With a full house I think it would be cool place to spend the early hours of Saturday or Sunday morning in.”

Food
The Rhythm Factory features an extensive Thai menu including old favorites such as Phad Thai and Thai Green Curry, as well as a fusion of all east Asian cuisine such as Chinese chicken in black bean sauce and steamed sea Bass with ginger and spring onions. There’s something here to suit all, and there are vegetarian alternatives of almost every dish, and at a reasonable price too!
