Tiger Tiger Review
Book a table at Tiger Tiger
Tiger Tiger is featured in these Guides:
Think back to when you recently visited Budapest, Krakow or Bratislava. Remember how the coolest, snazzinest, most spruced-up club you could find was that shrine to the 80s and 90s that played only a bizarre mix of Europop, thrash metal and R’n’B? Remember how it was still THE most decadent place in town? Well, that’s Tiger Tiger.
Now think back to when you were at university. Remember how you and your scholarly friends would quip, over the odd £1-a-pint Guinness, about how awesome it would be if the student union won the lottery and transformed itself into something that would make Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen wet his cords? Well, that’s Tiger Tiger.
Think back even further still to a time when you were little. Remember how you were curious to know where it was your bragging, skanky sister would go to on a Saturday night with that weird bloke who was old enough to drive? Well, that’s Tiger Tiger.
If Tiger Tiger represents contemporary London then we should rethink our hunting bylaws and have it exterminated. It’s old and, for its own good, should be put down. Apparently the tigers have been breeding too, because no less than 9 UK cities have proudly spawned these (en)dangered beasts - including the glamourous (and in no way looking for a fight) cities of Croydon, Cardiff and Glasgow. Hmmm, must be good then.
If you like your dancing dirty and your tigers easy, then this is THE Friday night venue for you. Especially if you are:
(a) a student who enjoys nothing better than blowing all your Saturday-job earnings the night before work;
(b) a full-time employee at the same establishments as those in category (a) – for men, this means The Carphone Warehouse or any franchised food outlet. For the ladies, Boots or Top Shop;
(c) a foreign visitor who was unlucky enough to get chatting to (a) or (b) whilst wandering into their place of work on Oxford Street earlier that day. Don’t believe everything the locals tell you, please!
Granted, they do have good air conditioning and the restaurant is quite decent. It’s just a pity all the tables are positioned directly under a speaker of some kind. Talking is not an option at meal times. Grrrr!
Tiger Tiger. So pants they named it twice. Otherwise 5 out of 10

“Worst club i have come across in London. Any of the surrounding clubs and bars in the Leicester square area would be a much better alternative to this cheap awful place.”

“Awful place, abysmal night. I normally don't take a blind bit of notice of these review sites as me and my wife travel all over the world off our own steam, however feel compelled to add a review. What should have been an awsome anniversary date was marred by dismissive, disinterested restaurant staff, uncooperative bar staff who don't seem to know the etiquette of first come first serve (unlike the US), cattle herding security and awful food - dry, bland, colorless (all brown, save for a half tomato). And we payed over 30 bucks a head for this stuff! You guys sure have some major problems and I warn others not to go near this place. It sucks.”

“Had a great Saturday night here! Yes, the queue is tiresome and bouncers are a bit over the top, but then it helps keep the scum out. Bar was heaving and staff managed to keep cool. I think it's one of the best bars & clubs in the West End! A great bar to party!”

“Tiger Tiger has had a refurbishment and I think it looks great. I go there quite a bit with work colleagues and think the restaraunt is lovely and the menu is not too expensive either. They've extended the Happy Hour so it's fab for after work drinks. I fully recommend.”

“This place is really expensive and has some ridiculously rude bar staff...One of them got really angry when I asked for water and slammed it down...The rest of em pretended not to see you...security were quite polite tho and the atmosphere was ok when away from the bar...but I still wouldn't come here again.”

“Terrible, awful, dreadful, very bad, appalling, poor, horrendous, frightful, shocking, terrifying. These are all words that can describe this place. I've been here 3 times, each time for someone's leaving/b'day and for no reason of my own. This place ticks all the bad boxes; expensive, unfriendly staff, and the plankton of society. You have been warned.”

“I totally agree with the bad reviews, this place is so awful I can''t believe it survives. I feel sorry for the poor tourists who visit London expecting it to be a cool and trendy city and who end up here. Generally the clientele are foreign nationals who are visiting and don''t know any better, illegal immigrants and chav hen and stag do''s (shame on you for hiring a limo - you are neither rich nor famous). For the boys naff shoes and McDonalds issue trousers are the pick of the day and for the girls anything so long as it is short, short, short. Don''t even bother going if you are not a slag....it''s meat market with expensive drinks....”
