“I was extreamly disappointed about Thai Square the Strand. To be honest me and my partner loved thai food so we can always tell when something is wrong.I went there on the 14 feb 10. My partner took me out for out for valentine meal, he even propose to me in there, was very unhappy about the following complaint
1. After drinking half a glass of pinapple juice, i notice hair in the juice...
2. They served us with a dirty spoon. Spoon has been used by someone and has not been washed properly.
3. Toilet was very tinny and a size 20 person will definatly not fit in there.
Not very impress at all. So i will not recommend this to any body.”

“I have been to the Thai Square group restaurants many times and the food is generally good. This one however was a huge disappointment. The atmosphere looks expensive and feels like a hotel lobby, there is something quite wrong about it, unless you like hotel lobbies that is. The food was not great at all, the pad thai was gloopy and very sweet and my friend's chicken was overcooked and described as "a M&S meal that was cooked well". Very disappointing overall and definitely not recommended. The service was so so, skimpy dresses and high heels do not make the most practical of outfits for waitresses. They struggled to set tables and serve food in these. They also forgot our water and a request for some chilli. My advice is if you like Thai food avoid this place.”

“Friendly enough staff but the portions were on the small side. Pad thai was very average as the rice noodles were not cooked through and the prawns were cold. We had a large grounp and I am not sure they could cope with the size.”
