La Kera Description
Is it possible to get a good Indian meal in an old chocolate factory, I hear you ask? Yes, if you pop up to La Kera in North London. This restaurant serves contemporary Indian food, using locally-sourced ingredients. As well as offering food from the many regions of India, La Kera takes much of its inspiration from the Keralan region. Amongst the diverse menu, you will find dishes such as squid wrapped in Keralan masala and curry leaves, a green, prawn and mango curry cooked in a coconut sauce and tandoori quail. Don’t forget to check out the desert menu, which includes saffron-infused grapes with semolina and cashew-nuts, sweetened with cane sugar. Three courses will cost an average of £20 per person.
