Zizzi Description
This restaurant, set between Soho and Covent Garden, has the air of a typical Italian piazza; the quiet buzz of conversation, open, airy, live entertainment on certain evenings, and a charmingly low lit feel that does not go amiss on a busy day. The simple and elegant décor comes courtesy of a very impressive illuminated tree with beautiful decorated branches and interesting wall maps. The ceramic theme of the restaurant is charming and the design of the restaurant - by architect Renzo Piano - makes this a Soho gem.

“I'm giving the atmosphere rating 5 stars because there was no atmosphere. It was empty, but that's exactly what my companion and I were looking for. We'd spent the day wandering the streets of Covent Garden and the West End and really wanted a decent, quiet meal where we could get a nice glass of wine and just chill out. This restaurant is a true hidden gem. Nobody knows about it (aside from people who work near there during the week. Excellent Italian food, a very modern restaurant with loads of light and contemporary design touches, and an excellent wine list. Always leave room for dessert because nearly every option has booze in it. Perfect.”
