“St Moritz was a restaurant I’ve wanted to try for some while. I love the food when I travel to Switzerland and it had been recommended by several friends and colleagues. First impressions were great, it has a fantastic atmosphere and the smell of cheese is everywhere! All sounds good so far, but sadly by the end of the meal I was overall disappointed and frustrated: - My partner ordered the escargot, it was great and if you like it, I would definitely recommend it. - As a starter, I ordered the Swiss sausage which was £7 for a collection of run of the mill meats that came out of the pre-packaged deli at Waitrose. Very disappointed! - We decided to go for the cheese fondue (I love fondue) and got the standard house variety with bread. Somehow, and I wish I caught this early; they get away with charging £13 per head! - We had one beer between us and our total was £60…way too expensive for the quantity and quality of food we had. Would I go again…only if I was taking clients and I could expense it! It’s time for London restaurants to step up their game. London is a global capital and as patrons we have been way too tolerant with poor service, mediocre food and exorbitant prices. St Moritz – Cheese is not that expensive, take a look at your pricing structure so that you can enjoy repeat business.”

“A group of 7 of us went. First impressions are that it is a quaint little village setting - very intimate. The smell of cheese was immense at the start however after being seated upstairs it was fine. I think you get used to it! We ordered different fondues however for 7 people. We had 2 bottles of house red and 2 bottles of house white. It came to £30 each. A great evening if you want to try something a little different! Staff - I must admit I did find them a little abrupt however they were ok. Wouldn't rush back to St. Moritz but wouldnt turn down an evening there with a group of pals!”

“We had the basic fondue here for three and it was amazing! I have seen some reviews where people have said the staff were rude - we found them to be very pleasant. I think they are very busy so it would be worth booking. Next time I am going to have the alpermagronen (sure I've spelt that wrong!) It is a bit pricey but then you have to remember it is in central London and the portions are surprisingly generous. Also, the quality of their ingredients is good and I think mostly from Switzerland. Can't wait to go back!”

"Dreadful pub, run by people who have zero idea about hospitality or running a pub. Upon arrival we sat in the back garden that only had one other table occupied , when we tried to order off the lunch menu..." Which venue is this?
