“If you want a quiet drink in a nice location then the the New Inn is ideal. It is a traditional pub with oak beams and a log fire and overall the atmosphere is relaxed. It overlooks the village green -Ham Common-. They served a variety of cask ales which are well preserved but cost a little more than other pubs in the vicinity. The food is from the printed menu or the special boards. We thought the prices were vastly inflated and poor value for money. The staff are friendly and focused.”

“The New Inn is situated on the picturesque Ham Common a short distance from Richmond Park. If travelling by public transport it is on the 65 bus route. Off street parking is available and free. This pub attracts the smarter 25 to 70 age group. There is a range of real ales, a choice of wines and an excellent although slightly expensive pub food menu. Very much a traditional pub where the staff are friendly and attentive and is only let down by the fact the no smoking area is at the back and they still allow smoking at the bar. There is a small garden patio area with ample seating for the warm summer days and evenings. Highly recommended.”

“A well run traditional English pub that only has background music so customers can converse freely. The staff are smartly dressed, attentive and friendly. The pub itself is clean and serves excellent foods which does tend to be a little expensive but is very tasty. They serve an excellent selection of real ales, and have a good choice of wines. It tends to attract customers ranging from 25 to 70 wanting a quiet drink. Only one word of caution smoking is allowed at the bar and whilst waiting to be served a customer was sitting on a bar stool blowing smoke which I found unpleasant, otherwise top rating. ”
