Gaucho Richmond (Bar, Restaurant)

On the banks of the Thames, Gaucho Richmond has a distinct country feel, making it an unforgettable spot for lunch or dinner. The outside terrace is positioned around a towering plane tree that in summer provides much needed shade. Inside, the restaurant is far brighter than most of the other Gaucho restaurants, with an open plan restaurant spread across a small mezzanine, with floor to ceiling glass windows meaning that every table has a view onto the river – the best place for a sundowner in Richmond. Gaucho Richmond often host events including Rugby dinners and Argentine asados.

“Steaks were ordered from a fly infested example of raw meats. Should have walked then as it is easy to place a see thru cover over the meat to stop flies crawling over it? Six of us sat down for the meal. To date three of us have diarrhea and sickness. Need to find out about the others possibly they are also on the toilet. Argintinian beef is boasted at this restaurant. The six steaks ranging from rib eye to fillet were tough as old boots, gristly and very very chewy. I'm going to stick to Aberdeen Angus which is less costly and more delicious and tender. This place is not for me. The staff are charming”
