The Recreation Ground Description
Ideally located on Camberwell Church St. in the heart of South London, The Recreation Ground is Camberwell’s newest late night pub and dining venue.
Our philosophy is quite simple. We put all our effort into providing you with the freshest food, delicious drinks as well as great music, and most importantly we always have fun doing so. We aim to offer a fantastic vibe whether it’s a few cocktails after work, a night out at the weekend, or a chilled out hung over Sunday afternoon.

We give all of our time and consideration to planning and serving a seasonally produced menu which we’re sure you’ll be delighted with.
Our head chef is passionate about making as much of our menu as possible ourselves. All our bar snacks are freshly made in house on a daily basis, from peeling, slicing and frying the potatoes for our crisps to roasting our own nuts. We also have two olive trees but it may be a while before we can claim to have grown our own olives…
