Prince of Wales Description
Located in leafy Holland Park, the Prince of Wales offers a modern twist on the traditional pub. The Prince of Wales’ spacious back garden makes it the perfect summer destination and its regular summer barbeques are not to be missed. The garden has even earned a place in rock history! The cover of Rod Stewart’s 1974 album ‘Smiler’ was photographed in the pub garden and with this year marking its 30th anniversary, there’s no better time to visit. You may even bump into another singer-songwriter, none other than pub regular Will Young.

“How to ruin a once great pub.
Used to use this old pub coz it was featured in several episodes of Minder.
Was once a trad pub but now it's a wine and lager gaff with a no proper locals.
Designed by Ikea.”

“Excellent pub, friendly service, extensive and interesting range of 'guest beers' with a wide and varied menu. The modern twists - very Notting Hill - in decor combine with hip music to make for a pleasing reinvention of the 'pub' genre. I particularly recommend the Kuper's Kolsh, a pale ale from Cologne that goes down like a well-constructed lager and is refreshingly moreish.”
