The Red Bar Description
Kylie, Bono and Sean Connery have all been guests and the Rolling Stones even had a photo-shoot in its striking interior. The Red Bar at Grosvenor House has played host to film stars, foreign dignitaries, football players and musicians during its illustrious 78 year history. Its reopening following a full makeover will gratify the legions of guests who pour into the hotel’s Great Room for the myriad of events hosted throughout the year.
The Red Bar is a classic hotel bar in the best sense of the word. Its unpretentious menu features popular wines and beers alongside classic cocktails in addition
Regular guests will recognise the iconic scarlet interior, but the restored Red Bar has a lustrous, almost retro new look. Gone are the clubby wing chairs; they have been replaced with arresting, cleanly designed furniture. Sleek bar chairs sit alongside inviting leather sofas with tables grouped in such a way that lends itself to intimacy. Guests can enjoy an unrestricted room layout ensuring maximum movement and fun! So popular were the caricatures that adorned the walls in the old design, guests have requested that a small number of the most striking be integrated into the new style bar as a testimony to their popularity.

“Whilst staying at the hotel we decided to go in for a drink on Friday the 4th of December. The atmosphere was great and the drinks were flowing. There was a band playing and they were awesome, I'm getting married next year and would love to know the name of the band to see if they would play at the wedding. Can anyone help me find the name of the band please?”
