The Garrison Description
The Garrison is featured in these Guides:
Well-loved Bermondsey Street gastropub, The Garrison, celebrated a milestone 10 year anniversary in 2013. Originally opened in 2003, The Garrison was created from a desire to address the needs of the local creative community throughout the day and night. The Garrison has consistently grown in popularity and after 10 years continues to serve rustic and seasonal dishes, with plenty of daily specials and local produce from artisan suppliers.
The Garrison offers guests a variety of anniversary celebrations throughout August. In its private 25-seat Cinema Room, it also has movie screenings – free
The Garrison was the first venue to form the Village London restaurant group co-founded by Clive Watson and Adam White. It is a great supporter of the community and a timeless venue that brings alive the village feel of Bermondsey. Additional sites include Village East, also located on Bermondsey Street, as well as the wildly popular The Riding house Café in Fitzrovia.

“Excellent food in a very cool setting. Seating is at a premium pretty much all of the time so I suggest taking a trip downstairs to the bright refurbished dining room. A tad on the expensive treat but a true off-the-beaten-track treat.”

“This is a bit out of the way - but well worth the trip. The food is among the best I've had in London and the service was excellent. Really liked the decor too - light airy and a bit ott but in good humour. Highly recommended.”
