Average (based on 2 votes): 2 Atmosphere: Value: Quality:

The following customer reviews are not endorsed by Fluid London and are simply those of users who wish to publish their independent experiences of Le Pont de la Tour Restaurant.

“Obviously the location is fabulous with near-perfect views of Tower Bridge, but it's the level of service that makes this French restaurant one of the best in London. Informative, relaxed, jovial, smart, quick, impeccable; everyone on the team at this restaurant is highly skilled at making the experience a complete one. The menu is not cheap but this is very much a special occasion restaurant. It would be perfect for couples celebrating a recent anniversary for example. That, and business dinners for client entertaining.”

“The pianist and the views make it nice for a special occassion. If you don't want wine, Le Pont de la Tour can be quite cheap too.”

Food

During the day, you can enjoy traditional French cooking with a modern twist, in the calm of our marine-inspired interior. At dinner, the opulence and elegance of the main dining room awakens against the backdrop of floodlit Tower Bridge.

Head Chef Tom Cook’s style is elegant and modern, but firmly rooted in classical French cuisine. Perfectly representative of his style are such dishes as: Sole Mousseline, Lobster Sauce, Samphire; Salad of Cured Venison, Beetroot, Ox Tongue, Pickled Vegetables; Grilled Chateaubriand, Pommes Frites, Béarnaise; Veal Kidney Flambé à la Moutarde; Confit Cod, Braised Fennel, Parsley Sauce; Salted Chocolate Ganache, Blood Orange Pannacotta; Crêpes Suzette.

Tom also continues to further our reputation for serving the best plateau de fruits de mer in the capital and to uphold the Sunday lunchtime tradition of serving rare roast beef with all the trimmings.
