“If you're fourteen, you'll love it. There's a safe bouncer downstairs who'll let you sneak in a six pack of strongbow which you can consume daintily in the bogs. It's a complete shithole, all the girls are off their faces and wearing nothing but a bra and fishnets. If you're pissed, you'll enjoy the music. Not much chance of a pull, and you're more than likely to bump into someone who you didn't want to see. Now and again they'll play a good punk tune. It doesnt usually get more diverse than sometihng like TimeBomb by Rancid though. You'll embarrass yourself by getting really drunk and deciding you actually DO like that Linkin park song afterall. People will give you their fags. Stuff gets nicked. I'm going there tomorrow night”

“The Dome is a good place to hold live gigs. On a saturday night sometimes it can take a while to pick up and is not always that busy, but the music they play is good if your into rock and indie music. I have been to the Dome quite a few times and found it to be ok.”

“Lleno de chavitos, pero musica chida (rock-alternativa con uno que dos momentitos fresas) y nada de bronca - lo recomendo para chupar y bailar un poco - en el bara de abajo musica mas heavy - si esto es lo quie buscas.”

“the dome is a very weird place. i went on saturday night with a mate and stayed in the upstairs room/wooden painted hall. Music was ska/punk (as 12 year olds today would understand by 'punk', think Green Day, Reel Big Fish, etc.) and extreme crap heavy metal downstairs, which seemed to exist for no other reason than separate my eardrums from my head. Not only is security laughable (if you fancy getting felt up by a bloke old enough to have an OAP bus pass, fine) but it's not cheap to get in (£10) and the beer tastes like rat piss. Add to this the fact that the entire clubbing body is 13 or under (make that a blind OAP bouncer, then) and either stoned out of their minds or on E, and you have the ingredients for (a) a paradise for perverts, and (b) one of the worst evenings out ever. Just add 5 million rude boy pikeys in JJB Sport's finest clothing, and you're there. Imagine a place where huge black men with muscles the size of Perth score with happily sedated, grossly underage and oversexualised young white girls. That's the Dome in all its glory. I should also mention that the music upstairs changed to old school RnB, and moved into rap past midnight. So if you like your punk/ska as I do, then it's hardly worth paying £10 for little over 90 minutes worth of clubbing. This has been a dismal experience compounded by a violent atmosphere that threatens to spill over at any moment. It was one of the most hopeless nights out of my life and I will never be going back. What a shame you can't award zero stars for any of the three categories.”

“i have been going to the dome for years and yer it may be a bit of a dive, but the atmospehere downstairs is hectic, with some sick moshin. plus there are plenty of hot chicks, to have a crack at. it does need a bit of refurbishing, but i guarantee a good night if you end up going. i have never had aby trouble there, so sit back dont relax and enjoy the music.”

“its a strange place down the road from me that gets a well varied crowd, the 3 main ones i walk past are grungey victims, rude boys and on friday nights... gay asians? its actually called gay asian night, that might be a rumer i dunno. basically dont go unless you put on your own night, and then if they offer you to do it as a regullar thing. make sure they dont bump you! get your money. and make sure they cant use your name or they will kick you out of the frame and use the reputation you build.”

“It's the dingiest, most macabre (not even in a gothic way) club in London. I have been a few times and each time was just as appauling as the first. Bouncers think they are super-human and get a bit too intimate when searching on the door. As for drinks, i bought 2 pints, as i was ordering, the clock went from 10:59 to 11:00 (end of happy hour), they charged me full price on the 2nd pint even though i bought both at same time. DONT GO!”

“Awful. Upstairs is a painted school hall as opposed to a club, Downstairs is slightly better atmospherewise but still little to enjoy. The grossly undermanned security guard force is a testement to the club owners lacking desire to rid the Dome of it's dangerous and violent reputation. The drinks taste bad but when surrounded by a gang of 20 troublemaking rude-boys they taste even worse. This really should be closed and soon!”
