The Abingdon is a long-established local restaurant and bar on Abingdon Road, just off the beaten track of High St Kensington. Situated amongst a leafy residential area, this relaxed and informal establishment is home-from-home to its neighbourhood and prides itself on its down-to-earth, welcoming and friendly experience.

Taken over by Peter Staples and his daughter Susannah in 1998, The Abingdon aims to provide consistently excellent food with great service. To this day long-standing employee Terry Connolly, made partner in 2007, still maintains the core values set up from the beginning. Head

Chef Alasdair Fraser joined the Abingdon in 2006 providing a menu that ranges from Modern European to the more exotically influenced dishes on the menu.

All of what the Abingdon upholds is what makes this bar and restaurant still of the most popular destinations in Kensington.
