The Florence Description
The Florence is a grand old dame of a pub in the centre of Herne Hill and opposite Brockwell Park. In the front, this place is large, light and airy around the central island bar (adults only). Out the back, there's a large decked garden, family-friendly areas and a dedicated kids playroom. Traditional pub food with a modern approach is served. They go for product quality over marketing for the draught and bottled beers and have a range of rotating ales, including those brewed in their own micro-brewery. It's dog friendly, date-night friendly, good for a spot of food and drinks, so bring your folks for lunch when they are visiting.
