The stately neo-classical Kenwood House on the north edge of London’s Hampstead Heath is home to fine art created by such notable names as Rembrandt, Vermeer, Turner and Gainsborough. Lovers of art, history, and architecture will be wise to take a pilgrimage to the Heath, therefore. And once the legs, eyes and brains grow weary from so much admiring with awe, take respite at The Brew House, located within Kenwood House itself.

Here you will find breakfast, sandwiches and salads for lunch, plus much heartier fare, if you're in need of it. Naturally, cakes, tea and coffee are a must at some point

because then you will no doubt tackle one of those fresh air strolls through the woods of Hampstead Heath, past the stunning views of London atop Parliament Hill, and down toward the swimming ponds and open air lido, that require a little nap when you get home.
