Crate Brewery serves a range of beers and wine. The bar currently has its own Crate Indian Pale Ale and Crate Golden Ale on tap, with Crate Larger, Stout, Wheat and Best due to join the ranks in the coming months. In addition to Crate beer, a range of other speciality beers from craft breweries around the world, including the likes of Trumans (UK), Brooklyn Larger (US), Coopers Sparkling Ale (Australia), Duvel (Belgium), Paulaner Munich Larger (Germany) is served.
Also a pizzeria, Crate Brewery serves up eight different delicious types of stone baked pizzas, including: Sage & Truffle Potato,
Crate Brewery is the newest hot spot to open in the shadow of the Olympic Park. Independently owned, Crate is brought to the Hackney Wick neighborhood by the owners of the renowned cafe The Counter, who teamed up with specialist brewer, Neil Hinchley.
Situated in The White Building, one of the only official Olympic Legacy buildings outside of the Olympic Park. With a lot of elbow grease the owners and a crew of local volunteers transformed the old canal-side print factory into this exiting new venue. The converted industrial interior has been created by local designers using reclaimed materials, reflecting the creativity and artistic ethos of the Hackney Wick community.
