Book a table at King's Head Cocktail Bar & Courtyard
King's Head Cocktail Bar & Courtyard is featured in these Guides:
Top 10 things to know about The King’s Head Fulham:
1) Whether you’re a local; you’re arriving after the football down the road at Fulham FC’s Craven Cottage home ground; or you want to try somewhere a bit different, The King’s Head Cocktail Bar and Courtyard has plenty to offer everyone.
2) Step inside and discover a buzzy, vibrant atmosphere, with quirky decorations including what looks like a tree growing across the ceiling and an Alice in Wonderland style theme.
3) Take your pick from a selection of cosy shared seating options with plump cushions; prop yourself up at the bar; or start warming up early on the dancefloor.
4) Or, if it’s a balmy evening, head outside to the enormous outdoor terrace complete with its own cocktail bar and football table. Alfresco barbecues in summer, and plenty of heaters when it’s a bit cooler.
5) Chat with the extremely animated and friendly bar staff who will fill you in on the best drinks to order from an original and varied menu.
6) For a cocktail with a difference try Stranger Things, a pisco sour mixed with pineapple juice and served in a lightbulb. While gin lovers may be tempted by Tree Top Tipple, made from Star of Bombay gin, shaken with Luxardo Maraschino, Aperol and fresh lemon juice. There’s also a wide selection of beers (bottled and draught) and wines.
7) Feeling peckish? Grab hold of the menu and prepare to salivate over an array of finger food, sharing plates and tasty burgers. If you’re ready for the biggest cheese-fest of your life, go for the deep fried cheeseburger – a whole piece of Camembert, coated in breadcrumbs, deep-fried, then topped with bacon. It’s messy but seriously worth it.
8) At 8pm on weekends the DJ starts spinning a vast and varied repertoire. Expect party classics such as Beyonce’s Crazy in Love; sure to get you moving towards the dancefloor.
9) As The King’s Head is open until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays, you can pull some moves and party well into the night.
10) If you’re young and free-spirited, this is the bar for you; come on down and have a blast. And if you feel like you may have left your partying days behind, The King’s Head will transport you back there in no time.
