The Common Room Review

Book a table at The Common Room

A hundred yards from Ealing Common tube (Piccadilly line) lies the Ealing Common Room. Established for about a year (from the beginning of 2004) this bar & restaurant has a warm smile for everyone who walks through the door.

Once inside you can sidle up to the bar where you will be well catered for by the bar staff and an extensive bar menu, good range of beers and even a few surprises in the fridge. Or you can grab one of the tables in the stylishly decorated dining area for the full evening menu.

The Common Room manages to provide formal dining without the stuffiness and great food and wine at below average price. The menu changes every six to ten weeks and believe me there is something for everyone.

The music, lighting and layout of this bar soon makes you forget you are on the Uxbridge road and even on Monday night this bar is worth checking out.

If you live locally this bar should definitely be on your list, if you don’t I’d say the Common Room is worth the journey across London town.

“Small but very stylish and friendly. Simply excellent menu of tapas / meze style offerings. Perfect for a snack or ull meal. If you live in ealing then I fully reccommend making this a first stop before jumping on the tube into the city.”

"My Gulascheintopf war perfekt and so was the Weissbier. I was in Kingston Steins. I do have a few suggestions for decor and table. 1. you need a little jar of toothpicks on the table to get meat out from..." Which venue is this?
