“The pepper tree is a great place to have an easy, reasonably cheap dinner. the food is really good quality and the service is good. Don't go here if u want romance or special times. It is communal seating (like school dinners) and pretty squashed and noisy. Basically, if you're hungry, in a rush and a little penniless, the pepper tree is a decent eatery.”

“Great atmosphere, fast friendly service and tasty Thai food that won't hurt the pocket. Situated in the heart of Clapham Common, overlooking the common itself with an open air front and a couple tables outside - perfect for a warm summer's evening - this place is a must if you are en-route for a night out but need a quick fix first. You cannot go wrong with the Thai Yellow, Red and Green Curries which cost less than a fiver with rice. The restaurant is laid out in long wooden tables, very basic but the great atmosphere and good food make up for it - if you get to sit facing the front you can watch the world go by too. You are nearly always guaranteed a small queue outside which goes down fairly quickly and in my view is a sign of a good restaurant! And after eating you are literally surrounded by fantastic bars to go wash your food down! You can't go wrong!!”
