The Ten Bells Review
Book a table at The Ten Bells
The Ten Bells is featured in these Guides:
I was told this is the pub that Jack the Ripper used to frequent and the inside certainly looks like it could date from that era, Victorian tiling fills half of the walls and the other half is just painted in dark green. A cosy and friendly pub with a real ''ye ol'' authentic feel. There is a interesting array of mish-mash seating filling a creaky wooden room. Going back to the Jack the Ripper tales, there are plenty of Jack the Ripper walks going on in the area so, who knows what ghost may stalk the pub? Going down the badly lit stairs to the loos after a few drinks certainly makes for an intersting experience with that tale lingering in your head.
Strictly drinking only which seem reasonably priced and they also serve rounds of tea and coffee.
