Super Tuscan Description

Super Tuscan is the result of many years of research by owner Nick Grossi, which saw Nick visiting producers, markets, vineyards and restaurants in Tuscany and beyond to source the finest ingredients and suppliers.

Nick Grossi’s love of Italian food and drink dates from the earliest age. His Italian father was a pioneer of the country’s cuisine in the UK, and Nick’s childhood was spent immersed in the family restaurant business. After reading Italian at Trinity College, Dublin, and following studies at the University of Bologna, Nick later moved into software development, working for many years

in Dublin and then in the City of London. However, his passion for Italy’s food culture never left him.

The chefs at Super Tuscan, Maurizio Sgroi and Rita Pisticello, are a husband and wife team who have recently moved to London from Italy. Originally both from Sicily, they have worked extensively throughout Italy, most recently in Umbria.
