Sir Christopher Hatton Description
A traditional British pub only a short stroll from Chancery Lane and Farringdon tube stations, and Hatton Garden and Holborn. As this is a Nicholson’s pub, you can expect an eclectic range of real ales and cask-conditioned beers with many guest drinks popping up from time to time. There are also draught ciders and lagers plus, wines, gins and malt whiskies.
The pub grub food menu is filled with British classics and offers fantastic value for money. Highlights include the steak and chips, the sea bass with lemon butter sauce, and the smoked haddock with a rarebit topping.
During the summer
The pub is named after the historic Lord Chancellor of England, Sir Christopher Hatton, who was rumoured to have been a lover of Queen Elizabeth I.
