Hung Drawn & Quartered (Bar)

Perched atop Tower Hill with one foot in the City and one foot in Britain’s most famous prison, the mood around this venue is one of the most interesting in London. Plenty of historical significance around, the Trinity Square Gardens and memorials are worth a solemn wander. The pub itself is nothing overly daring or innovative, yet that doesn’t seem to matter when considering the most attractive aspect of the Hung, Drawn and Quartered is location. The patrons are young and gentlemanly – a comfortable after work scene or family lunch in a part of the city best enjoyed for reflection. The food is consistently good though not overly impressive and the beer selection also fairly standard. Nevertheless the pub is one to remember, mostly because of location and atmosphere.
