The Drift Description
Book a table at The Drift
New bar and restaurant in Liverpool Street. Opened in July 2011. This new bar is sister to other City bars The Parlour in Canary Wharf, The Folly and The Anthologist in Bank, and The Refinery in Southwark. Clearly, it will be a popular drinking and dining space for City workers looking for modern British cuisine.

“We have been to The Drift last Saturday around 9:35pm for some last drinks and some food. We were greeted by a very enthusiastic blonde guy, who seemed quite happy to have us for dinner at that time, promptly he sat us down, but took a bit long to bring us menus. Another guy was quite quick to take our order as the kitchen was gonna be closed very soon. Our drinks were made and sit on the bar for quite long time and no one seemed bothered to bring it to us, after waiting around 10 minutes I had to got there and pick it myself, in this moment I realized they felt a bit ashamed and helped me and apologized. Apart from my friend's burger being wrong and cold which was swiftly replaced by a brand new, the overall experience was great! The Drift is a very cool bar that deserves to be appreciated.. perfect location and decor, when it is not too busy they operate only on the top floor, so if you walk in and dont see anyone at the bar, just walk upstairs.”

“We have been going to the Drift Bar since it opened end of July. The first few times were fantastic but they really need to sort themselves out if they want to keep loyal customers. Service is OTT on arrival then non existant, food has come out cold, or little of it and sometimes our bookings that have been confirmed are not in their systems. This is not a good contiuation from them and some of their staff have serious attitude problems. Please sort this out otherwise the bar will drift away to the catergory of a no go there bar / restaurant. they really need to look after their regulars and treat them with a little VIP!”
