1776 Restaurant Description

Book a table at 1776 Restaurant

1776 Restaurant is set behind the Brasserie, 1776 serves a modern British menu with lots of global influences and flavours added to the mix – think signature dishes such as fillet of Black Angus beef with a breadcrumb crust and garlic snails, pan-fried black cod with pak choy and ponzu sauce, and ‘mazara el vallo’ (red prawns with carpaccio of baby squid). There is also a hot carving trolley for seasonal roast meats, plus a selection of dishes prepared at the table, (steak tartare with carasau bread & quails’ eggs, say). The inviting interior references the building’s history, while adding some City comforts and luxurious touches.

Food

The 1776 dining room is open for lunch and dinner with a menu designed by Head Chef, Juri Ravagli, formerly of The Drones Club, Harry's Bar and George Club. You have the choice of ordering from the a la carte menu or, the silver service roast meat trolley which is carefully carved by the manager at your table. The a la carte menu has European influences and includes dishes such as: Asparagus & duck egg salad and roasted Cote de Veau with ceps.

The impressive dessert trolley changes daily.

Loved

"My Gulascheintopf war perfekt and so was the Weissbier. I was in Kingston Steins. I do have a few suggestions for decor and table. 1. you need a little jar of toothpicks on the table to get meat out from..." Which venue is this?

Hated

"I visited browns alone after work and got convinced to spend an hour in the “VIP” room with Jennifer - which is just a corner of the private dance area - no privacy at all. I essentially paid £500 for..." Which venue is this?
