“The fact there are no signage or any direction via the service personnel in the bar that I ended up getting the earful for sitting upstairs while ordering food downstairs is not right. Then when I was properly sitting on the table in a not crowded restaurant upstairs the waiter wants me to move while there are no reservation or people in other tables. I have left to go downstairs at the end cause it was just too much drama for someone who just wanted a quick relaxing lunch around my place. Such a pity for a restaurant to have a bad service with a good location.”

“For all you literary boths out there, The Grapes played a leading role in Charles Dickens's novel 'Our Mutual Friend' although in the book he called it the Six Jolly Fellowship Porters. Views on the Thames are great and seafood is delicious.”

“Great little historic pub. All wooden beams, etc. Great fish as well. Dickens wrote about this place, apparantly.”
