The Hobgoblin Description
The Hobgoblin is featured in these Guides:
Once the stomping ground of The Pogue's Shane MacGowan and Spider Stacy (during the pub’s former life as the Devonshire Arms, which in its hay-day enforced an alternative dress code), this Camden haunt is said to be the longest-surviving Goth pub in London. Regular themed nights still take place at Hobgoblin, with DJs playing most evenings, and range from death rock to industrial, punk and cyber. Previously best known for Snakebite and Blacks, the pub, which is now owned by Wychwood Brewery, has been injected with a much-needed dose of decent ales.
