“11/02/05 - Oh dear - I so want to like this place. True the atmosphere is fun and the staff are friendly, but the food. Oh dear. My recent lunch consisted of reheated new potatoes (cold in the middle) a cold and unappetising steak served with a cook-in pepper sauce and a bizarre take on Gravadlax which doesn't work. In the past I have enjoyed some fantastic meals (delicious kangaroo and ostrich steaks) but have also suffered uncooked chicken, and lots of microwaved food. Christmas lunch for 10 of us, was a disaster. It just seems like the guy(s) in the kitchen is believes in cooking the food the day before and trying to make a large margin by cutting corners - either that or he hates his job, the waiting staff and the customers. Sort him out! Nice place for a drink though. ”

“That TELEFRAG fella doesn''t know what he is on about. The food rocks, the staff are great fun (especially that cute burnette) and the atmosphere is excellent. Many a merry evening here with friends and fellow troublemakers. I would definitely recommend it for an good, unpretentious evening on the town where you know you are going to leave with a stomachfull of tasty eats and a smile on your face.”

“This sterile little bar was recently renovated, in the cheapest possible manner, to create a quasi yuppie drinking den, but without any yuppies.
The music is played at supermarket or lift musak volume, i.e just audible, and of the same bland and sometimes downright depressing quality.
Which is probably why the staff are so dour, or perhaps they are tired of the reaction they get to the ridiculously overpriced ''tapas'' which at £2.50 to £3.50 per item is just exorbitant.
This venue has no redeeming factors AVOID
