Fancy Funkin Chicken is a chicken shop and bar in vibrant Brixton designed to elevate the humble chicken into something a bit fancier.
Expect an enticing menu of traditional herbed and spiced free-range fried chicken. Highlights include a kicking trio of Funkin Hot Wings, Funkin Funkin Hot Wings and I Can’t Feel My Funkin Face Hot Wings, featured alongside a hearty selection of burgers, best washed down with boozy concoctions such as the Daisy – a biting mix of Tequila, Aperol, passion fruit and lime.
The urban 50-cover dining room will play host to an eclectic music programme of Jazz and Funk, with DJ’s performing on selected days.

“ I am a veggie so its not usual for me to go to a Chicken shop but their Veggie burger was great (mainly beatroot so very moist and the coleslaw was amazing) was stuffed afterwards. Really good cocktails. Cool music so its fun place. ”
