“check it out - perseverance is a classy young crowd kind of pub which appears to be full of nurses and policemen (funny that). good choice if you don't want your drinking disturbed by the snores of the old drunk in the corner or the slobber of the land-lords dog..as long as you can stomach the wall paper that is. it masquerades as the drawing room of a country manor house and has a drinks cabinet to match.”
