“Lovely pub for a mid-week meal and a bottle of wine. The burgers are great here. It's always really busy and a good atmosphere.
A lovely local pub - I just wish they had a quiz night!”

“Arrogant staff with very little skill at actually running a bar. Filthy open kitchen in a pub full of chain smokers??? Beers tend to be overpriced and taste of cleaning fluid. the occasional reasonable art exhibition. The food, though cooked in a sewer, would be ok at half the price, but is way too expensive and distinctly average.
i have a few friends who think this pub is ok - the atmos is ok, lots of QVC types and antipodeans from some local removal firm - but it only takes a couple of pints before they give in and we pile off up the pavilion up the road - or even the Eagle, for gods sake.
There is more to running a bar than shopping in the notting hill clothes exchange and wearing your jeans too big guys... with a bit of effort, maybe £50 a week spent on a cleaner, and perhaps a proper kitchen this could probably be a reasonable boozer.”
