“We had a very happy family reunion, including children from two and a half upwards, and the menu suited everybody of all ages. All agreed that the food (a number of different dishes) was excellent and we felt very comfortable. This is definitely on my list for a repeat visit.”

“These reviews are very old we brought the pub nearly 4 years ago, it is no longer the rough youth club that it was. we have refurbished inside and out and have very nice customers, I used to run the plough which is just up the road so a lot of our customers are from there both old and young. We have also inherited a lot of the Hare and Hounds customers. If you havn't been in for a while please just come in and see how different it is i'm sure you'll be pleasently supprised. The pool table has gone we have made a lovely seating area out the back. The food is all freshly made and we buy all our meat from chubbs the local butchers.”

“Admittedly I may be out of date somewhat with my review of this pub, but this is based on a particularly bad experience. I remember going to this pub back in the summer of 1998 - to watch England play in the World Cup (yes, I know this was a bad decison!), only to witness chaos afterwards as England were eliminated. In the brawl that ensued between two groups of thugs, I along with a couple of friends decided to make a swift exit. Needless to say I have never returned. Having moved back into the area recently, I have yet to set foot inside the pub - 11 years on!....and don't intend to either. Just terrible, a simply dreadful pub that still seems to attract mouthy yobs.”

“What rubbish, this is a standard regulars pub, there's nothing special about it, but I've been going there nearly every day since Easter and I haven't seen one fight! Not one for the beer conniseurs amongst you, but the regulars who can come in and chat and see a friendly face love it, its cheap and the staff are always welcoming.”

“Avoid unless you like fighting. Unusual for this gentrified area is this awful boozer, which would be more suited to a rough council estate.
I lived opposite here for a year and the number of times I had to call the police due to people kicking the living daylights out of each other beggars belief.
In every other way it is unremarkable. Cheap, 2-for-1 meals, any football shown on multiple large screens, no decent beer (just fighting lager) and a cold welcome.
The worst pub I have been in (and I lived in Hull for a year).”
