The Sampler Description
This Islington shop was one of the first to install an extensive array of Enomatic machines for try-and-buy tastings. Bottles change pretty much every day but collections are the same at both the original shop and the Kensington branch. Charge up a card (£10 minimum) and sip a variety of wines. Hic!

“Pricey wine shop but quality wines available. Staff is not always very polite or attentive to you as you enter into the shop. You can see a lot of great wines in there, sometimes available on the tap - £10-25 for a glup of old vintage Bordeaux, not necessarily a bad deal.
Get in here for the choice of good wines available, not for the price which could be more aggressive.
Overall OK, even if I tend not to buy my wine from there.”

“A brilliant concept in a brilliant area. Now all those amazing sauvignon blancs, grenache and pinot noir that I've wanted to try for so long are all available under one roof. It's so easy: chuck a few quid on a top-up card and away you go. They even have a section where you can sample the REALLY expensive wines without having to buy the whole bottle. Great idea for a gift.”
