The Mother's Day set menu at this Covent Garden restaurant has been designed for sharing (£45pp). On arrival, enjoy snacks such as Coccoli before choosing one antipasti dish each from a selection including Portland crab crostini and Padron peppers. Next, the choice of wood-fired dishes includes the likes of Chicken al mattone and Butternut squash and chard parmigiana, and each guest can also choose a Contorno likePotato al forno or Cauliflower gratin with thyme pangrattato to share with the table. Finally, to round it all off, there will be an assortment of dolci to share, including Poached fruit with hazelnut sorbet and a Bramley apple and oat crumble.

The menu begins with a rose petal bellini and appetisers to share followed by dishes including Portland crab salad with blood oranges and castelfranco and fillet of Cornish hake with white polenta and saffron mussels. For dessert enjoy prosecco jelly with raspberry ripple ice cream, Rhubarb and vanilla mascarpone tart or Original Beans chocolate with Zisola olive oil ice cream and honeycomb.

On Saturday 21 March, Petersham Nurseries Café will also host an intimate wine lunch.
