Heathrow Airport: Top 10 Best Bars & Restaurants

Picture of Heathrow Airport: Top 10 Best Bars & Restaurants

Heathrow Airport: Top 10 Best Bars, Pubs & Restaurants. Amazing how Airport Terminals have transformed over the years, only recently the suggestion that fine dining and a relaxing drink was on offer was laughable. How times have changed. In centuries past Heathrow was simply a secluded row of cottages, known as Heath Row, occasionally frequented by highwaymen.

With the recent addition of Terminal 5, Heathrow Airport is not only the largest airport in the UK flying to 170 destinations around the World, it handles more international passengers than any other airport in the World - more than 60 million! No wonder the standard of pubs, bars and restaurants in and around the Heathrow area is now so high. If you're looking for a quick bite before your flight, a longer more relaxed fine-dining experience or simply a decent pint before heading to foreign lands, Heathrow Airport has a great selection for you to choose from.

Heathrow Airport
Bar / Restaurant

The only pub before going through Heathrow customs, or whilst waiting for your loved one it has become home to the travellers & staff at Terminal 5, serving real ales and continental lagers, all day breakfast or a rib eye steak are favourites, whilst staving off hunger for a short haul flight might only need an eggs Benedict or Welsh rarebit. With a wine list chosen again by John Clevely, Master of Wine, and with all the wines available by the glass this is a pub worth crossing the terminal for.

Look at the address: Heathrow Airport. This is not central London. Either I'm very very lost, or I've just left the best eatery in the Heathrow Terminal 3. If not in the entire Heathrow complex. When you walk through the door of the Three Bells you are greeted by the view of a stunning bar, an atrium four storeys high & an ever changing slide show projected onto the wall. Beyond this is the dining area where a mix of small and large tables means we can quickly feed and water groups of any size.
