St James
Bar / Restaurant

If you want to be a winner with your friends, take them down to watch the Rugby World Cup at Rileys in Haymarket, Home to the BIGGEST 4k projection screen in London. With 34 screens, 70 channels and 4 giant screens, you will always be close to the action. Riley's are screening World Cup matches every day, but if you don't fancy just watching sports, but want to play them too, they have numerous pool and ping pong tables. Image of The Porterhouse

West End
Bar / Restaurant

This huge Irish pub in Covent Garden - from the Irish beer production giants, Porterhouse Brewing Company - is spread over several floors, with screens showing live World Cup Rugby throughout. There's beer and ale aplenty, of course, and the grub is good. But be warned - the interior is akin to a rabbit's warren and many a punter has spent precious drinking and sports-watching time wandering around the cavernous space looking for their friends. Leave your table at your peril! It's also advisable to get in early to secure a spot. Games include: France v Argentina; New Zealand v South Africa; Ireland v Scotland; and Australia v Wales. Loads of live music too!

Bar / Club

Don't just watch the Rugby World Cup, make it a Rugby World Cup party! The 24-foot mega screen (plus 8 plasma screens) are just the start of your victorious day/night of rugby. This will be a party atmosphere but only for the big games involving England, France, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa. You need to buy tickets to these events so check out which games they are showing and get involved. Whoop whoop!

Image of The Queen Adelaide

The Queen Adelaide is passionate about rugby, but newcomers to the sport need not be afraid. A lovingly adorned blackboard lays out all the rules 'for dummies' - their words, not ours! All the games from Japan will be screened indoors and outdoors at the Queen Adelaide so get up nice and early. We suggest booking a table for an early brunch before kickoff. Find out when each game is playing. You might go to this Putney gastropub for its hearty grub and weekly pub quiz, but you'll likely leave it as a powerhouse of rugby knowledge, with an overwhelming desire to top your kitchen table with a faux grass rugby pitch.

Image of Sports Bar & Grill

Bar / Restaurant

This is great location for watching the Rugby World Cup games live on TV when you're in Central London. As the bar is in Marylebone station, transport links from your cosy bed at home are easy for those early morn kickoffs from Japan. Check out when each match is being screened and book you and your mates a table close to the screens and the action. Sports Bar and Grill has the sport but it also has good food (although keep to the sporting classics of beers and hot dogs), an all right booze selection and modern, clean, d├ęcor.

Image of Skylight Rooftop

Whitechapel & Wapping

Grasp hold of the final rays of summer; don those sunglasses; refuse to welcome the autumn too soon! Get up on the roof in hipster east London at the top of this abandoned car park. The views from up here are magical, and the clientele is rather tasty too! You'll need to buy tickets for each game but there are screens inside and outside, plus a bunch of street food vendors providing breakfast/brunch. Matches include Ireland vs Scotland; England vs Argentina; and New Zealand vs. South Africa.

Image of Greenwood

This is a more upmarket London sports bar where the many screens and live sports are complemented by a better standard of food menu, plush decor and smart seating arrangements. Again, you'll need to book tickets to be part of this rugby party but you will not be disappointed. There are food and drinks packages also available if you and your mates want to club together and make an occasion of it. The proximity to Victoria station makes this a great place to start your working day once you get off the train/Tube.

Image of Broadleaf London

City of London
Bar / Restaurant

For all those rugby fans who work in the City of London, Broadleaf bar is near Liverpool Street station and Bank station. Book a table with some mates, order one of the special RWC 2019 breakfast and brunch menus, and sit back to enjoy the big games, the big tackles and the big points. There are 7 large tv screens and projector dotted around the bar so you will have a clear view of your team as they take to the field in Japan. You can also ask about their sports food and drinks packages if you're "calling in sick" at work.
