Could London be the best place outside of China to celebrate Chinese New Year? With the rich colours and smells of Chinatown and atmosphere as far as the eye can see!

2018 is the Year of the Dog. Chinese New Year starts on 16th February, and the huge parade in central London takes place on Sunday 18th Feb with much of the focus in and around Chinatown as well as Trafalgar Square.

Book a table at Hutong on 16th February and celebrate the Year of the Dog with a special menu which includes delights such as Chinese five spiced crispy duck and crispy soft-shell crab with Sichuan dried chilli. Accompany with a Panhu cocktail made with Bulldog gin, pomelo cordial, Crème de Mure, fresh raspberries and egg white. Guests will be entertained with a traditional lion dance and noise makers and red pocket envelopes will be distributed containing gifts and treats. The beautiful Min Jiang, found within the The Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, are offering two menus to celebrate the Year of the Dog. Both menus are similar, but the second offers an additional course of delicious Bi Feng Tang lobster with a mango roll. Menus are available from 15th February until 4th March.
