The much-anticipated Royal Wedding is fast approaching, and if, like us, your invitation seems to have got lost in the post, we suggest you head on into good old London town on Saturday 19th May where countless bars and restaurants invite you to celebrate the royal nuptials with them. From royal afternoon teas to special set menus and decadent brunches to specially created cocktails (Markle Sparkle & Jolly Ginger – oh yes!) London has got the Royal Wedding well and truly covered.

A Right Royal Afternoon Tea
There's nothing quite like an afternoon tea to celebrate a British Royal Wedding and The Petersham have taken this quintessentially British occasion to new heights for the big day. Available from 3rd May until 1st July, enjoy a spectacular Royal Afternoon Tea with themed pastries carefully curated by Head Chef Jean-Didier Gouges. Highlights include a decadent chocolate biscuit cake (a favourite of The Queen as well as lemon curd and raspberry tartlets, inspired by Meghan Markle's citrus flavoured wedding cake. Royal Afternoon Tea is priced at £27.50 Monday to Friday and £29.50 Saturday and Sunday. Add a glass of champagne for £12.75.

Fancy a private screening of the Royal Wedding and a decadent champagne afternoon tea in London? Then book your place at The Royal Horseguards Hotel in Whitehall and celebrate the big day in pure style and indulgence. Priced at £59 per person, this is expected to sell out fast.

Combining the celebration of the annual Mayfair Flower Show and the Royal Wedding, sketch will receive a divine makeover from 17th until 29th May with a total of seven installations transforming the venue. These include a stunning floral and feather wedding dress, a full wedding aisle and scenes from a fantasy honeymoon trip around the world. And if all that fabulous art wasn't enough, head to The Gallery and tuck into a fabulous special afternoon tea featuring delights such as a poppy and redcurrant religieuse; a lemon and elderflower wedding cake; and vanilla and strawberry hibiscus gateau, inspired by Meghan's choices for her big day.

Markle Sparkle, Jolly Ginger, Botswana Sunrise – Anyone for Cocktails?
Trafalgar Dining Rooms have gone cocktail crazy for the Royal Wedding with specially created drinks for the big day. The Markle Sparkle (of course!) blends the finest East London Liqueur Co. Vodka with sweet mandarin and lavender liqueur and is mixed with citric acid and pineapple syrup before being topped with lavender gold dust. Bit on the sweet side? Then sample The Ginger (yep, you heard it right) which is made with Chairman’s spiced rum, homemade ginger syrup, lime juice, Vermouth and Cacao Blanc Liqueur. Knock back a couple of those and you'll be proposing yourself!

Celebrate the happy couple's big day at top London restaurant Aster on Saturday 19th May and join in their Royal Brunch Party. The grand event will be shown on a huge screen and there'll be plenty of bubbly for everyone. The venue is also creating six exclusive royal cocktails for the occasion which include the Markle Sparkle, the Botswana Sunrise, The Jolly Ginger and the Happy Couple.

Brunches, BBQ's and Bottomless Booze
A Bottomless Pimm's Brunch seems the perfect way to celebrate the Royal Wedding which means that Greenwood in Victoria is bound to be packed to the rafters. Tuck into dishes such as mac n cheese balls, shrimp and bacon croquettes or eggs Royal and avocado on toast along with as much Pimm's as you can knock back for two hours whilst watching the big event unfold on six huge plasma screens. Brunch is available between 11am-5pm and costs £35 for 2 courses or £40 for 3 courses. Even better, you can sit back and watch the FA Cup Final that same afternoon. Now that's what we call a top Saturday!
Bluebird's iconic Chelsea courtyard will be decked with bunting and balloons on Saturday 19th May and a huge screen put in place for all to enjoy the ceremony in style. Tuck into delights from the BBQ and knock back the champers to toast the happy couple. After the screens go off the DJ will take over proceedings with an afternoon of tunes.
