Enjoy eating out at Quality Thai Restaurants for the Thai New Year

Those who have visited Thailand will know of the famous Songkran water festival celebrated annually in the middle of April. Traditionally, Songkran was a sedate affair where the transgressions of the previuos year were symbolically washed away with water. Now, however, the normally reserved Thais leave reticence behind and celebrate with abandon. Afterwards, at sunset they return home to enjoy an expansive meal.

Thai New Year (Songkran) is celebrated from the 13th April. "Sa Wad Dee Pee Mai!" ('happy new year' in Thai)
