Café de Paris on a Friday night is the only place you want to be. Here's why:

1) Entertainment. Every Friday night Café de Paris is taken over by La Rêve; a troop of body contorting, hoop spinning, cabaret consoling, burlesque teasing, circus marveling, phenomena's. A variety show, La Rêve's treasure-chest of wonderment will ensure your lower jaw remains permanently detached from the rest of your face. Vaudevillian entertainment rotates each week so you'll always experience something new. One week you could be privy to comedy cabaret double-act Frisky and Mannish with a side of delightfully seductive burlesque from Miss Polly Rae, another it could be the foot stomping of Irish dancers Up and Over It or the ramblings of flâneur, raconteur, bon-viveur and easily the greatest UK-based French comedian around, Marcel Lucont. The acts are totally unpredictable; the only thing guaranteed is the certainty of an excellent night.

2) Time Travel. As soon as you step through the doors of Café de Paris you are transported back to a time of forgotten opulence and glamour. La Rêve draws inspiration from this era and their brand of dinner-show nods to days gone by. High-kicking antics first experienced during the Parisian belle epoque, and lavish floorshows of 1950s Las Vegas, La Rêve has grand spectacular variety entertainment down to a fine art. The head-to-toe vintage and beautiful people eating and drinking and joining in the general merriment will also cause you to check the date on your smart phone.

3) It's Friday night. Whether you've had a good or a bad week it's Friday night which means for the next two days at least it's all forgotten and that should be toasted. You can join La Rêve in raising a glass with either a sociable drinks-only ticket or from several seated dining ticket levels including VIP options.

La Rêve every Friday night from 7pm at Café de Paris.

Show ticket £15, 2-Course Dinner + Show £47.50, 3-Course Dinner + Show £52.50, VIP Dinner + Show £75
