“Unfortunately I cannot rate the food at Beauberry House as we did not get to eat any!! When we arrived having booked a table a month ago as a Christmas present for my parents we were told that many of the items on the menu were not available, including the only vegetarian dish. Guess what we were offered as a substitute....turkey!!! Just what we wanted straight after Christmas!! Sadly the staff did not seem to care or offer any apology and we promptly left and had a fantastic meal in Crystal Palace. This place may present itself as a classy restaurant but in all the pomp it forgot about basic customer service!! I would just like to thank the kind waitress who got our coats while the head waiter had strangely disappeared.”

“I came here on boxing day with some friends for a few drinks and my bag ended up getting stolen by is absolute crap that the cloakroom was shut. I think that it is a load of bollocks to have a cloakroom yet keep it shut! And it doent look like i'll be getting my bag back and what was in it..:( Music was crap they need a better DJ or change the music the DJ plays doesn't really get people up and dancing enough!!”

“Sunday nights (6.30pm-late) is a wonderful friendly night of ballroom, sequence, line dancing and some Latin. Gays and lesbians flock here to enjoy and dance to the great tunes. It is completely different to the rest of the week - and people who only know it from other nights are usually bowled over by the atmosphere. A great night out and only £2 entry!”

“It is the worse experience i have ever seen in my life, first of all when i arrived found the guy on cashier screaming at the customers and speaking in a very rude way and seemed that he could not manage to get his duties done while we were 3 customers at that time then i tryed to pay for my order and then found him throughing the card machine infront of me while talking to some other customer on the phone which was really bad service and was even was speaking in a very bad and rude way then when checking the order at home found that it was not what we ordered and was some thing else which again was not of any convinience at all. I will never go there again and will never recommed it to any of the people i like.”

“One for a quiet pint of (good) Guinness and a read of the paper! If you're on the piss and just want lager, best give it a miss. As an Irishman I can testify that it's probably the only remotely real (though I hope I'm wrong) Irish pub in the West End.”

“2 of us had booked a birthday party and paid a deposit for the upper floor. We had approx 65-85 guest due to attend. A week earlier we got a call explaining that the directors’ friend wants the top section so we have to move downstairs. I agreed, as I was told that we would still have adequate seating and that some champagne will be ‘sorted out’. Suffice to say, that on the night 40% of our guest were standing, spent most of the evening trying to organise seating (moving chairs and tables) for my guests. The champagne bottles turned into 2 bottles of house wine. When I finally started enjoying the evening, 3 friends and I stood in queue to go outside to smoke for 40mins. The bouncer let in (counted) 36 people in and nobody out, by then there was a queue forming behind us. When we did get out, I had barely lit my cigarette and was told to hurry up as there are other people waiting. In general, not a bad place if you’re a non-smoker and expecting less than a party of 10. Then again you could always just go to O’Neills, just around the corner. May not look as nice, but guaranteed a good laugh, throughout the evening.”

“This is a nice friendly and intimate venue, with cheap drinks, the best in cheesy music and a VERY late license. Its a young crowd and the atmosphere is very chilled, but one thing this place is definately not anymore is gay! There are plenty of cute (straightish) scally lads in there for you to drool over (if that's your thing!), but considering the huge rainbow flag that still hangs outside, its about time this place is reclaimed by the real East-end gay boys & girls! If you want a quiet drink go anytime before 12 midnight - its dead. If you like it a bit more lively go after midnight - people usually start arriving between 12 and 1am.”

“I've been in this pub several times, mainly for Sunday lunch - a sort of carvery with normally beef, pork or chicken + veg - and I have to really recommend the food highly as well as the reasonable prices. The pub itself is difficult to describe. A cross between a private club and an old fashioned restaurant. It is very quaint and the xmas decorations a bit over the top! I'll be back soon.”

“Drink prices discusting and they ran out 3 hours into a 12 hour festival so had to drink vile warm lager. Door staff have some funny rules ok understand no food to be taken in but taking away my cough sweets was a bit of a joke. Also "they: decided at 5 no pass outs at a 12 hour music festival when we had asked when we arrived what time we could go out to and told 9.30. My husband is a diabetic and needed food they said if we went out we could not come back in. "Rules just for rules sake and to suit them. Would not go to this place again".”

“Great location on the river front looks warm and inviting with candles lit in the window. Not inviting when inside... staff miserable and not welcoming. We asked when we could order food and was told a curt not till 6 and walked away. We were meeting up with 8 friends who all wanted to eat and they were all treated the same, we had to wait till one minuite past 6.....should have walked out but it was a cold night and didn't want to dampen the mood any more. The food was ok but just plonked on table. Seems this place doesn't have to try because of it's location. Would not go again.”

“Proper "front room" pub staffed by proper pub professionals. Great pint of Guinness and people in my company who drink real ale speak well of their beer. Gloriously untypical of Covent Garden watering holes.”

“This place never fails to impress me. The drinks are excellent and my friends and I love singing along to the live music while socialising with fellow customers and sipping on the delicious cocktails! This is my favourite bar in London as one has a unique experience ever time you go! Also janet is hilarious!”

“I went to the Moors Bar tonight for the Jazz. It's a small bar but the mood was nice and relaxed the staff were friendly and the musicians were excellent. I was surprised there were not more people there I understand it's under new management. Keep up the good work and I'll be back.”
