“This bar is like a little slice of Hackney in London's tourist central. A hard-to-find basement bar boasting easy-on-the-eye bar staff and easy-on-the-taste-buds cocktails; lots of art on the walls and an edgy mix of people. Actually that does the drinks a disservice, the cocktails are amazing, try the Boris Tea. This is definitely the best bar in the West End, if not in London.”

“Despite the 'no booking' policy which means you can be propping up the tiny bar for a while until a table becomes free, this is a great restaurant with really fantastic food.
It has a quirky 'tapas but not quite tapas style' menu where some puddings and savoury things like arancini are just a couple of quid but then some meat and fish dishes are a lot more expensive. It's really fun to share different dishes and try something new, in a cute and charming yet at the same time bustling atmosphere.”

“On the final day of our stay in London, we wanted to have breakfast in covent garden. We arrived at the Piazza Cafe at 9:30, there were only 2 other couples there.The waitress came over to our seat outside and gave us a menu. 5minutes later she took our orders for breakfast - 1 Granola and Greek yoghurt and 1 full English breakfast.50minutes later we were still waiting.The waitress was rude and dismissive.She even laughed when I said how long we were waiting and proceeded to put a delivery away.On the counter you could see the hot food orders waiting. One plate of Full English breakfast was sat there for 30minutes. 65minutes later, the cooked breakfast arrived.The food was rubbery, cold and 'slopped' on the plate. The waitress did not apologise. Poor service. Unattentive waiting staff. Not worth the time or money. Avoid at all costs!!!!”
