El Camion & The Pink Chihuahua 25-27 Brewer Street, London, W1F 0RR (Map)

The upstairs restaurant is quick and cosy and serves a variety of the same thing over and over. Whatever you order, it'll come loaded with guacamole, beans, cheese, lettuce etc etc. It's decent, but not... More Atmosphere: Value: Quality:

“Terrible bar. A fiver to get in and then once inside, realise it's practically a sauna. So so hot. The weird layout is probably the only thing it has going for it. The music is naff chart stuff with the odd 'latin' sounding tune thrown in to keep it on theme. Nice girls though.”

“I came here recently for the second time, having enjoyed my first visit. I was much less pleased the second time as the food was somewhat greasy and not as good as I had remembered. The ingredients appear to be good quality, which goes someway to justifying the high prices, but I don't think it is really worth it. I was also disappointed with the service as it wasn't particularly friendly and the waitress very cheekily did not bring back the change despite a service charge having already been applied at 12.5%!”

“Had lunch with my wife - food quality was a bit above average - Atmosphere was alright considering it was a Sunday Lunch - Extreme efforts to improve the look of the place, still ended up like a pub - loved the Library”

“I haven't actually eaten here yet but I intend to. The bright modern interior of this beautiful old building make it an enticing stop off restaurant for dinner near Kings Cross. We chose to down a couple of pints (limited selection) and sit alfresco on one of the little tables outside. Quite the hidden gem.”

“Went there with a group of 9 lads for an Eid celebration. The daal soup which one of my friends ordered was way TOO watery but the owner himself came and apologized sincerely when he heard about this and personaly took it back to the kitchen for it to be changed. I ordered a T-Bone Steak, not a thick cut as I thought it would be but was extremely tasty with all the spices and that wonderful gravy. You can also enjoy shisha/hookah in the back gardens or even at the front. All in all a great experience but I WILL be returning there simply on one thing, the EXCELLENT customer service which was provided could not be more better.”

“Takari in Govent Garden has a great buzz coupled with attentive but not overly pushy staff. Its slightly more relaxed/intimate in feel than its sister restaurant Takari Willesden, and the food is to the same high quality of taste and presentation. We went for my fiance's birthday on the 50% off food offer. We both tried some amazing seafood starters (the seafood Platter was particularly good) and out mains (Honey Lushious) were excellent. For any occasion, I'd recommend”

Adventure Bar (Clapham Junction), Battersea (Bar)
“Absolutely stellar bar - the staff are unbelievably friendly and make an effort to get to know you - on my second visit they all welcomed me back as if I was a regular. I'd honestly go back purely for that reason - but I should probably mention the drinks... they are to die for! The bartenders clearly know their stuff and every cocktail is a winner, which is amazing given the HUGE selection on offer. Prices are reasonable for London - especially if you head there before 8 for Happy Hour (2 for £9, yes please!. I genuinely can't recommend this place highly enough - can't wait to go back!”

Indian Seasoning, Fulham (Bar / Restaurant)
“I recently had dinner at Indian Seasoning in Fulham. I had a really great experience, but the place was really very quiet, so I thought I would write a few words in the hope that people might be encouraged to give it a try. Granted, I was there mid week so you woudln't necessarily expect the place to be packed, but I thought that the food and the people were so nice that it deserves to busy every day of the week. Staff were really friendly, and attentive, and had a great knowledge of the dishes which ranged from traditional to more modern adaptations of Indian cuisine. I had the fish Tikka to start, which was delicately spiced, and i had a try of the vegetarian walnut kebab that my friend ordered, which was really unusual, and one of the nicest vegetarian dishes I have tried. For main I had Jeera chicken, along with pilau rice and garlic naan. I am a big fan of cumin, and this meal didn't didn't disappoint. This may be the dish I come back for time after time. All in all, great food, great people and defintiely somewhere I will be going back to.”
