What a delight, locked between two train stations, you have no excuse not to visit this fine old pub with great chips, simple generous menu. The bar is big and square, fully stocked with everything you'd... More Atmosphere: Value: Quality:

“A small but perfectly formed pub.Serves traditional pub grub and serves what I think is the best pint of young's in town! The atmosphere and friendly staff are second to none.London is made up of two sets of people. Those who have been to the fox and hounds ane those who yet to discover the best little pub in london.”

“A great place to be, good on summer evenings when you can sit outside and watch the world go by. gets very busy at night, and is great value for money. oh, and the 18st doormen on the door at 6.30pm on a monday evening are there because they have to be, as its the law. You get a mixed crowd, aging from 18-30, and a good atmosphere.”

“This is an excellent pub serving fantastic food and very good value. Its busy these days so you need to book a table if you want to eat, which I would strongly recommond. The staff are great - nothing is to much trouble. This is a cut above the rest in Islington - GO.”

The Falcon, Clapham (Bar)
“The Falcon should be a great Pub, but some how doesn't meets its potential. The actual bar area looks ok, the garden is large with plenty of tables, but has usually been filled with the pretensious set that seems to dominate in Clapham. It takes too long to get served and the bar staff have always been unfriendly and sometimes grumpy. It is home to one of the most disgusting mens toilets I have even experienced. In the summer when it warm and sticky, its one evil stench... and everyone has to walk right past the door to get to the garden. They should really sort that out. Overall, its an ok venue, but is let down by some pretty important factors.”

3ONE7 Bar, Hampstead (Bar)
“kak sports bar with nothing going for it. a few tiny tv's dotted about, a big screen that's only visible from the stairs, and clueless staff. expensive and full of pikies. id suggest you go to the walkabout down the road instead, you'll see the action, plus you get the bonus of laughing at the ozzies who are still wearing flipflops in mid winter.”

Storm, West End (Bar / Club)
“Great music and atmosphere without attitude. Even the barstaff are friendly and still smiling at 4am. Cosy seating area around the bar and dancefloor allows one to appreciate the wide mix of clubgoer that this club attracts (whether accidentally on the clubber's part I cannot say). Dresswise anything goes, although some of the more hard-core rap fans seem to have blurred the normal sartorial stereotype with something more akin to 'illegal mini-cab casual'. Enjoy the vibe, the company and don't ask anyone 'how much to Clapham?' and you are guaranteed a fantastic time - or at the very least, a good laugh. Pricey though.”

“The main thing that comes to mind about this place is the arrogant staff attitude. Add this to the mediocre food at high prices and your'e not left with a lot but nice red walls!”

“Stumbled across the pub by accident today and was very glad that I did. The food was excellent, well priced and the tea with yummy vanilla and choccie crisp-twists were a nice touch - even if one of them did go to the dog!! Had a great time chatting to the owners who are willing to chat and get to know you which is something you don't get much in London these days. Music and tv were good too not that there was any need to watch the telly! Will definatley recommend it to my mates - shame I can't go back for a while as I am moving!! Wish I had found the place a few months ago! Hopefully soon they will be a book crossing venue too - which will be wicked! Keep it up guys! It's a great place! ”

“camne to three kings last night afetr reading the review from fluid and must say both the place and the review is spot on. with tv's everywhere showinmg all the european games plus the cricket, the problem was not knowing which to watch and where to stand. a roar from 1 side told us that newcastle had just scored and sighs of disbelieve from another end of the bar that marseilles had knocked one in against liverpool. an awesome atmosphere improved more by Rich (?) adding his bit on the mc. you can even request a particular game to be showed on the individual small screens. i've been converted and from now on the famous three kings will be the only place to watch any sport for me”

“stunning inside, fires, airy, yet cosy with most decadent ceiling in north London, check this pub. Very prohibition if your looking for a gangsta and molls venue. The food rules and portions are huge. Take a date, take your mum or sit on your own reading the papers. it's great and afterwards cross over and get to the north london pub”

“This place is now terrible. Nice room, but declining food standards and rip off prices. By far the worst thing about the place is the arrongance served by the staff. I've experienced service that is downright rude. Avoid - there are much better places nearby such as The Easton and the Elk in the Woods.”

The Phene, Chelsea (Bar / Restaurant)
“I didn't know the Phene before the change. I am now happy to call it my Local. You might argue, it isn't a pub that can have "local" status anymore--too posh, too cocktail oriented. Wrong. Phene welcomes a nice mix of people. The staff is friendly enough that you can go alone and not feel out of sorts and there is ample seating for going with a large group. With the renovation and cleaning of the patio, this will be the place for people to relax over the summer. Plus, I dare you not to fall for the charms of the new managers.”

"Great experience, anyone who has memories of old London will get this, be prepared to be fleeced, by girls who are in fairness trying to earn a living, that involves showing you their fanny." Which venue is this?
