“I have been to a few GBKs. They are all reasonable. Unfortunately, I was unable to have coffee due to the machine breaking down. I hope they got repaired quickly. It's only a small problem but I am bit fussy about what I drink.”

“Nice atmosphere . Never offered children's menu. Overcomes chicken schnitzel very dry and spinach required seasoning . Very average food overall. Not for a family .”

“I love Villiers Terrace. I Read It In Books way back in the 80's. Love the Crocodiles Album Picture on the Wall. So glad The Bunnymen sang about it, I have come from New Zealand and quite unexpectedly I can live it. Brings back fond memories. Recommend to anyone and good they stopped the service charge, I go there with family and friends way more.”

“We needed somewhere to eat and stumbled across you, wow, decor and warm welcome on entry was second to none, we had drinks in the window before moving to the restaurant for a one courser, which was gorgeous, i had the traditional rib eye and chips, (home cut chunky chips!) and my partner had the pheasant, the warm chestnut and glazed skin was to die for! All washed down by your SA pinotage again with a romantic story. The girl and boy who served us were fantastic, didnt stay for long but will remain with us, cannot wait to bring friends to regroup, snack drink and be merry.”

“Excellent crowd, cheese-tastic music, and fun had all night. Only been once but definitely planning a trip back there. I'm also a massive fan of their flashing dance floor, you don't see those that often these days!”

Il Cavaliere, Finsbury Park (Restaurant)
“Really enjoyed my Saturday evening meal with 3 friends. We were greeted by the Chef, Antonio and when our order was taken it was with ease and flexibility, unlike some of the franchise restaurants. The food was cooked to a high standard and the wait was worth it. We realise that the food is cooked to order and this is a small family run restaurant. Would recommend to anyone wanting good quality wholesome food without all the frills and frivolity.”

The Artesian Well, Clapham (Bar / Club)
“I am appalled to hear that the Lambeth council is trying to close The Artesian Well and Lost Society on Wandsworth road because of couple of moaning neighbours. These venues are the best that Clapham and South London has. The Artesian Well is such a great venue and is well respected by us clientele. Lovely crowd hence the reason I visit this venue on a regular basis. This venue is the soul of Clapham and if closed Clapham will deteriorate. There are already many boarded up shops, betting shops, pound shops and homeless all over the place in Clapham which is turning the area for worse. The council should praise successful businesses like The Artesian Well for attracting young professionals and bringing wealth to the area. If these venues are to close I would be moving out of Clapham with immediate effect. It is a dull and grim place anyway and has changed for worse in the last three years. From being a desirable place it is turning into a miserable place. Hope the council realises this before it is to late before the issue is reversible.”

The Manor Arms, Streatham & Norbury (Bar / Restaurant)
“This pub is too child friendly and is more like a child care centre than a pub. I would never recommend this pub to anyone who doesn't have children. Large groups of friends with their young children overwhelmed the pub - with noise, screaming, toys strewn over the floor and the parents happily sitting chatting at the large table pretty much ignoring their own children whilst every other patron had to deal with the unpleasantness of unruly children. The waitress and food service was terribly slow - it would have been forgiven if it was not a child day care centre. This pub could be amazing, in a gorgeous building and decorated in good taste but allowing large tables of young children ruins the atmosphere. Will not be going back here again.”

Masala Zone Bayswater, Notting Hill (Bar / Restaurant)
“As I write my mouth is watering ! And not only because I like Indian food. I'm Italian so I should have enough goodness at home. Still I cannot resist the cuisine from other parts of the world and probably my favourite is the Indian one. I happened to go to the Masala zone restaurant in the west end last summer. What I really liked was the open kitchen so that I could see what I was going to eat. Exactly! I was going to eat what the cook just put in the pan and then straight into my plate. Wonderful ,the smell the taste light hot as I asked as I was with my young daughter who doesn't particularly appreciate spicy food. Still she managed to finish the plate and was also very pleased. She'll probably ask me to go there again. This time in Notting hill gate just before diving in Portobello market!”

“I love you artesian! Start a petition or something and I’ll be first to sign up!! I’m 100% against the EMRO, I think its ridiculous. Pretty pathetic in my opinion to start closing places like you (The Artesian Well) down at midnight because im sure that would bankrupt them and they’d have to close. In the long run you are destroying local businesses and robbing their staff of their livelihood.”
