“You have a great spot for the pause that refreshes, have been coming in for a lot of years, we know on site the lady bartender "jean" i think. We always stay at the fielding. Love the lunchtime crowd - does anyone go back to work??? I would not want to leave the premises, we only wish we had an authentic lamb and flag here. thnx for being a friendly stop for the weary wanderer.”

“Ate here last weekend having heard about this place. Had a really great meal with a big group of us, the food at Locale is terrific. Very beautiful dining room. Most of us had steak but the pasta looked excellent. It was very busy but we got served very quickly. The restaurant was non smoking but it was still a bit smoky as the bar is attached. Can't wait for the smoking ban!”

“I used imbibe for my leaving drinks the other Friday, and we had a fantastic night. The staff were all very friendly; the garden was brill especially the BBQ. All my friends had a great night. The music was good and they had a great selection of drinks, to my determent! Good night all round.”

“Love BBAG - some of my best nights are in the back room. Went there for a private party the other night and it was wicked. They also have some really top notch DJ's. I can never resist the tapa's - can recommend the prawns and yummy chorizo! Soooooooooooooooooooooo good.”

“This is one of my favourite pubs in London. The perfect location & has a fantastic atmosphere; the food is excellent with a great snack menu, coupled with great staff who are friendly, this makes for a great dining or just drinking experience. We're looking forward to Summer so we can take advantage of the garden area!”

Sausage & Mash Cafe, City of London (Restaurant)
“Terrible. Coustomer service and the S&M cafe are two alien concepts. I sat on a piece of glass on the seat and they did not care. We waited 45 minutes and they did not care, the food was appalling, the atmosphere was smokey and loud, but they would not adjust the volume on the radio even after asking nicely. I will never go back and I do not recommend it to anyone!”

Brick Lane Beigel Bakery, Shoreditch (Restaurant)
“I often walk past this dingy looking bakery, but this weekend I decided to try it as so many people rave about it. I was right about it being dingy, it was incredibly dirty inside. I asked for a cake and the woman, not wearing gloves or washing her hands just picked it up with her fingers and put it in a bag. The lack of hygiene was not impressive and I would not go back.”

Picture of Cubana, Waterloo, London

Cubana, Waterloo (Bar / Restaurant)
“I went here after reading the fluid's reviews, I had a really good time. The food was great (I had pollo criollo), and my friend highly rated the steak too, in fact I think the previous food criticism is harsh, starters were £2/3.95 and mains about £9.95, but you can get cubalibre by the jug. The live band started about 11pm and the tables were cleared away. The best thing is the guns on the walls, its a bit cheesely cuban-themed in the same way I've seen a 'Sherlock Holmes' pub in other countries! Its not a place for hard-core show-off salsa dancers because its too crowded, but there was a reasonable amount. There was a mix of english and latins (I found enough people to speak spanish to), but mostly english, and too many guys! Overall, I rate the place quite highly, its not too large either, definitely a good night out.”

3ONE7 Bar, Hampstead (Bar)
“Went to the 3 One 7 Bar last Saturday, was suprised how clean and up to date it was, loads of screens and the drinks were quite cheap. On Saturday it was like a club night except the DJ was really cool and played all my songs! He even mixed most of them up (Wonderful). Nice atmosphere with cool staff and DJ. It finished at 2am so we didn't have to bother going into town. We all had a Cool night ( 3girls / 2boys).”

Salt Yard, Bloomsbury (Bar / Restaurant)
“After reading some reviews about the Salt Yard, we were really looking forward to eating there. The menu looked good and a great location. Well there were four of us, and the food was OK. Next day though we all suffered from stomach pains and regular trips to the toilet. Each of us ate different dishes I had “Confit of Gloucester Old Spot pork” served with courgette fries, tomato and basil sauce. The dish tasted good, as did my friends dishes. However, the next day was rough on all of us – and when my wife called the Salt Yard to inform them, they were beyond rude – and said that it was not their problem. Well I am sorry, but if four people become ill through eating their food – “It’s their problem”. If only one person got ill, then you could wonder if that would be attributing to something else. Come on Salt Yard – tidy up your act, and maybe clean up your customer relations act, and maybe teach you staff cleanliness. We will not be going back to the Salt Yard, and would recommend if you want a nice place for a drink then the Salt Yard would be fine, but for your stomach sack - stay away from their food.”

The Lighthouse, Battersea (Bar)
“What a great and welcome to change to the Battersea scene. The refurb has given the old dovedale / new lighthouse and fantastic fresh new edge. With importing the fancy canadian chef, the food quality and service have rocketed in the right direction, deliciouse welsh rarebit... Who needs trappist when you have organic cider? I wish this pub was on my doorstep. ”

Blah! Blah! Blah!, Shepherds Bush (Bar / Restaurant)
“My favourite place of comfort and a treat from dailly routine. Here you will enjoy dishes created from fresh produce with just enough herbs/spices as not to disguise the natural flavours. The prices are very reasonable for what you recieve. Each month i look forward to a visit and i am sure you will too. Thumbs up!!!”
