This is a Sam Smith's pub so be warned, they only sell Sam Smith products. Luckily, I like Sam Smith's but anyone searching for a Guinness might be disappointed. The service is a tad slow at the bar but... More Atmosphere: Value: Quality:

“An excellent range of independent ales, and premium lagers, plus, it's main attraction, the alfresco area outside where the West End's finest gather for a post-work, or pre-theatre pint before going to the Lyceum next door to see the Lion King or over the road to Somerset House to an outdoor gig or summer cinema screening.”

“This is a small and friendly restaurant on the fulham road. The food is good and reasonably priced and the service is attentive. £40 for two people to eat and drink is good value. Recommended.”

“Surprisingly lovely pub in a very residential area of Fulham, where a lot of other pubs have recently closed. The outside may not look all that, but the inside is all done up gastro style, with the beer garden being the highlight - lots of benches and heaters. The clientele look like they would be just at home down the kings road. And i guess that is why they charge almost £10 for a pint of Vier and a bottle of Bulmers!”

“Went in for a quick drink. Overpriced drinks and totally ripped off on the bill. Bought a bottle of champagne (GBP 200) and somehow got charged an additional GBP 200 for 20 minutes of bland conversation. Avoid this place.”

“I had my birthday drinks at Imbibe last week and they were really good, before the night i was emailing them with questions and they got back to me promtly with everything I wanted to know. On the night the atmosphere was great and the food was really good, fantastic burgers according to my friend! It was a really good night and I'll be heading back for more for sure. I also left my bag and they looked after it for me safe and sound until I could get back to pick it up another day.”

“Round the corner from London Bridge, Brigade is a trendy bar and restaurant, was fab as we could chat without having to shout over loud music ...drinks were reasonable price. The food at the restaurant was great and I would recommend it .”

“The former King of Diamonds, recently underwent it's long awaited refurbishment in February '12. Since then it has gone from strength to strength. The exterior of the pub looks much better, with new furniture, better deals throughout the week, and, a THIRD bar in the Cellar. A great end of the week atmosphere and now open Saturday and Sunday!”

“£15 to get inside they told us on the door, and beers are £5 - great we thought and the four of us went inside. Once we had paid to get in we were ushered to a table and told we had to sit there and we had to buy either a bottle of spirits (75cl Southern Comfort £150 for example!) or a crate of 24 beers (£115). We should have just gotten up and left but we had paid to get in so we ended up getting the cheapest option, the beer. Why we couldn't just get a few drinks from the bar I have no idea. Girls were avarage, lots of foreigners.”

The Barracuda, Ealing (Bar / Club)
“An awful excuse of a 'club'. Entered at around 1 in the morning only to find myself greeted by around 10 other glum looking faces. The atmosphere was shocking and the staff seemed uninterested and seemed reluctant in giving my required double JD and coke. The music was shabby and reminded me of a simpler time. In the future I will choose to go to another club that will make me feel good. The main positive that I can take from this 'club' is the cool and sassy name. Overall, a pleasant experience. I will not be returning. Yours truly, The Barracuda”

“Went inside with my fiancée just to have a drink . The waiter said we could have drinks without eating . We ordered 2 cranberry juices and the waiter after this told us that we had to leave because we were not consuming alcohol ..... The worst place I ever been in camden ... Ridiculous”

“Ate a superb lotus root and tofu salad here yesterday whilst sitting on the wooden benches outside in the sun with cool tunes being pumped out of the stereo. It was a wholly satisfying London moment. Excellent value for money at only £6.50 too. Boxpark is one of my new fave places to eat.”

“Overall, for the asking price on some of the dishes, perhaps a little steep for what you pay for but generally a decent feed though. We ate in the street food ground floor section. The red meat dishes were easily the best and the mini kebab burger stood out. Nice cocktails too and quirky, Indian-Wahaca style vibe going on. Vibrant, buzzy atmosphere. It would be a good restaurant for lunches if you worked on Oxford Street or were out shopping at Selfridges.”

“It's a Thursday night, a group of 8 lads have been at the pub all night to wet the babies head (a recent Dad amongst our ranks), the pub has closed and we're determined to kick on and find some fun in the City. Amber, here we come, hangovers at work tomorrow. We all got in with ease, got served really quickly and the new father had a great time dancing to cheesy tunes until late. Very much where the suits hang out until the wee hours of the night.”

“My go-to spot as soon as I get off the tube at Old Street. The building itself is totally unique and the three large walls of glass are great for people watching and street art contemplation over a flat white coffee and almond croissant. The staff are always super friendly and I like the old NME magazines used for wallpaper upstairs near the toilet.”

Picture of Clapham Grand, Clapham, London

Clapham Grand, Clapham (Bar / Club)
“I have mixed feelings about the Clapham Grand. Went to watch the England Italy quarter final there last night and although I like the space and although they have the largest sports screen in Europe and although there was plenty of atmosphere, there were a few issues that dissuade me from going again. Firstly, the security. The perfunctory bag check at the front door did little to persuade me that they had our best interests at heart (the bouncer was more interested in a sexy woman walking passed). Then when I told them we'd reserved a table last week I was told that my name wasn't on the list and that I might find somewhere to stand upstairs (not cool!). And then, when a small group of Italian fans decided to let the world know of their presence rather than asking them to perhaps be a little less obvious or station security nearer to them for their own safety, the security just watched on whilst pints were thrown back and forth and only turned up when it got really nasty and punches were thrown. The abr also ran out of lager so sold everyone cans for £3.50 a pop, Ridiculous! Plus, they only served lager, no ales! How hard can it be?”

“A good selection of ales and bitters on tap, an unusual space with various levels all under a bridge (a secret hideaway if you're looking to hide from someone), and a lovely little alfresco terrace on the Thames. Quick service too.”
