“What a great find, this must be the best pub in finchley. No screeming under aged kids, great food, great staff, great beer, the only thing I could moan about would be that i do not live next door to this venue. The best pub in the area without a doubt.”

Glasshouse Stores, Soho (Bar)
“This pub is such a refreshing change to the other venues in the West End of London. No pretensions and drinks at a reasonable price. A few different levels adds to the quirkiness of Glasshouse Stores - you can generally find a little area somewhere to enjoy a few drinks with mates or date. If you're after a decent pub in the West End this is the one for you.”

“I'm a big cocktail fan and a friend recommended janets bar. So i went, expecting to sit down and have a really good cocktail. I was surprised when i was there as I had so much more than a great cocktail: the atmosphere was so original, unlike any other bar i've been to; and the bar girls and regulars were very warm and friendly.”

“I adored this unique Soho venue immediately as i walked in, from the beaming justintimberlake door-host to the thronging joyfilled dancefloor. The music is impossible to refuse and the atmopshere inside is completely unpretentious with smiling patrons of all ages and orientations... I got chatting to a bevy of gorgeous people, danced with a pair of charismatic queens on the podium and snuck in a kiss with a tanned lad with betty davis eyes, it doesn't get much better than that for 5 quid entry!”

“My partner and I have been enjoying the excellent food, drink and 'unique' atmosphere of The Triangle since it opened. It's one of our favourite restaurants to take friends and family. No matter how many times you visit this restaurant there is always something new/previously missed to catch your eye. Friendly staff deliver a good service and creator and restaurateur, Azis, is simply 'the icing on the cake'.”

“We went there last night for my partner's birthday. We had reserved an area and were requested to give our credit card details in advance. In case we would have not showed up we would have been charged £100, fair enough. On our arrival we are sat in our allocated area, only for 15 minutes later being moved to another one with no explanation. This is when we get to meet our little Australian waitress from hell. We are about to place our order for a bottle of white wine and when asking for advice we only get one standard answer in a rather charming Kat and Kimesque accent for whichever one we enquiry about: "Oh yeah that one is very nice" but what is, is it a Savignon Blanc or a Riesling? and the answer again: ""Oh yeah that one is very nice, certainly very popular" . We are soon joined by our friends, which want to order different things, only to find out that we are not allowed to run individual tabs, one big bill or nothing. So the evening goes on rathe smoothly, until the bill comes, they have added four more beers to the bill. Little australian girl will not have any of it, and angrily refuse to take the bill off the bill. The only good thing about the bar is the interiors (although they have un-originally copied the mirror bathrooms form Sketch). One word of advice to the managers: Train your staff about the wines on the list and send them to anger management classes.”

Baroque, Ealing (Bar / Restaurant / Club)
“We had a fantastic time at the kiwi kitchen on Saturday. The staff were very attentive and the food was top notch - and very reasonably priced. The Paua fritter was just like back home and the lamb shank has to be the best lamb I've tasted outside the North island of NZ. Keep up the good work guys, you're truly bringing a slice of kiwiana to the UK!”

Opal Champagne Lounge, Kensington (Bar)
“If you go to Opal on a Friday or Saturday night, be prepared to be met by an unreasonable, rude and power-tripping little Blonde girl "managing" the door. This young lady (backed-up by a large eastern-european thug) will not care if you're on the guestlist she's holding or how polite/ quiet/ well/dressed/respectable/funky/fashionable you are. Gloucester road's own little tin-pot dictatoress will decide if you get in or not depnding purely on your socio-economic status. Needless to say, you'll have NO trouble getting in if you're a white chelsea rich kid (looking like a cross between Harry Potter and Prince Harry). This is an obvious policy by the club's manager (an Algerian migrant himself, incidently) to keep the club...ahem "respectable". Once/if you get in it's actually a cosy little club, but don't expect any loyalty from the door staff on your next visit!”

Tir Na Nog, Wandsworth (Bar)
“Great little place for a fantastic pint of guiness. Wandsworth's best kept secret - very different to all the other pretentious and fake 'old school' bars in the area. This place is proper old school and you always likely to meet an interesting character in there! Something different and a good laugh.”

Lucky Voice Soho Private Karaoke, Soho (Bar)
“I went to Lucky Voice karaoke last weekend with a gaggle of girls. We had a brilliant time. Great tunes, great wigs and great drinks ... great fun. The only draw back was a couple of members of staff who should not have been put in customer facing roles. Passive aggressive tones from the front of house were really inappropriate considering the silliness of the singing. Well worth a visit despite this.”

The Red Lion, Barnes & Sheen (Bar / Restaurant)
“What a delightful pub, clean & well run. I have lived in Barnes for 12 years & I thought it was still the troublesome den that it used to be. How wrong I was. When one of the girls from my antenatal class suggested it for lunch, I almost choked with disbilief, she assured me it would be good and she was right, excellent lunch, (I had the crab), pity it doesn't seem to be as good as a secret as I now wish it was!, but at least there were no chavs around!”

Project Orange, Clapham (Bar)
“Project Orange is a rock/indie bar with live bands playing downstairs once a month. Wide range of international beers, basic cocktails. Private basement bar is available to hire for groups of up to 70-75 (though i'd say anything over 60 would be a bit packed). It has a nice alternative vibe, and the great music makes a refreshing change from the chain bars that seem to dominate Clapham Junction.”

The Pig and Whistle, Barnes & Sheen (Bar)
“What rubbish, this is a standard regulars pub, there's nothing special about it, but I've been going there nearly every day since Easter and I haven't seen one fight! Not one for the beer conniseurs amongst you, but the regulars who can come in and chat and see a friendly face love it, its cheap and the staff are always welcoming.”

"Girls were rude demanding tips for a poor show. If this is the best club London has to offer don't bother going anywhere else in the city." Which venue is this?
